Worship

  • What to Expect

Our worship service is traditional, with some consistent elements that allow people to actively participate in the worship service. The  worship service typically lasts one hour. The service includes a time of focusing for worship, listening to Scripture and a sermon (no longer than 20 min), responding to God, and being sent into the world to live out our faith.

  • Do I need to dress up?

Come as you feel most comfortable. We have attendees in coats and ties and in shorts and shirts. Most of our ladies wear pants. Light shawls are available in the entry way (Narthex) if the Sanctuary is cool.

  • What do you offer for my kids?

We hope you will keep your children in the worship service. Jesus invited the children to come to him. Learning to participate in worship can begin at a young age. We have bulletins and activity bags to help occupy your little ones. If your little one gets too restless, we have a "Wiggle Room". Trained and screened volunteers will accompany you and be happy to stay with your child.

  • Where do I park?

Parking is available all around the church.  For worship services in the Sanctuary, the most convenient parking is along Aldersgate Street or in the parking lot at the corner of Aldersgate Street and Garrett Street. Enter through the doors under the portico next to Aldersgate street or the single door to the office at the opposite corner of the parking lot.

For other events in the Fellowship Hall or Conference Room, the most convenient parking is in the grass near the portico at the end of the building across the street from the field and adjacent to the playground.

Messy Church, Meals, and Other Events

  • Do I need to register?

Registrations allow us to plan so that we better accomodate the needs of our guests.

Individual events will have links to sign up.

We understand that life is messy these days and appreciate calls to let us know if you need to cancel or would like to be added late.
